Hubby was asking Tian to answer something and Tian simply guessed and got the answer correctly.
Hubby: (Direct translation from Mandarin) Like this you also 'mao1 chong4' (Mao1 Chong4 is a Taiwanese way of expressing getting the answer by guessing blindly)
Tian: Mao (Cat) is not Chong (Heavy) because it is very small. Kou (Dog) is Chong (Heavy).
Kids are so cute.
P/S: I find it hard to express my kids humour in my blog because I can't write in Mandarin. As I was educated in Bahasa Malaysia since Primary School, I am only able to read little Mandarin. It makes me quite determined to send my kids to Chinese Primary School but I will be worried about their command in Bahasa Melayu and English. Is there any better way to decide?

She says.....
Just now, Tao was flipping through a photo album and I heard "Oh, No!" several times.
I thought I had heard wrongly or it was just a random babbling. I approached her and realised that she said "Oh, No!" because some photos had dropped out from the sleeves and she was unable to put them back.

She says.....
My MIL was comparing Tao's bowel movement which is a normal once or twice a day with Tian's abnormal ones which is once every two days or even three days.
MIL: Tao Tao is so good. 'Ng ng' at least once a day. You are very 'cha'. (Inferior or not up to that good in Mandarin)
Tian: Yes, I am 'cha' (fork). Mei Mei is 'tang shi' (spoon). Ah Mah is 'tie' (plate). Mama is also 'tie'.
And we all rolled with laughter.

She says.....
I was hanging clothes outside the house this morning and took a peek into the living room to see if any of the girls were up to mischief. I saw Tian who was sitting on the sofa put her foot on her sister's head and Tao was annoyed.
Me: Tian, don't bully Mei Mei. She does not like having your foot on her head. Do you like people putting their foot on your head too?
Tian: I do not bully Mei Mei. I am just using my foot to 'sayang' her.
Me: *Argh*
